GGPoker has sent 416 players to the WSOP Circuit Toronto 2025 Main Event, which kicked off at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto.
Each seat is valued at C$2,000, bringing the total contribution from online qualifiers to C$728,000, assuming all participants are in attendance.
Of the total qualifiers, 411 players earned their seats via
GGPoker Ontario, which is exclusive to players located in Ontario.
The remaining five players qualified through
GGPoker’s global platform, which ran events targeting players in the rest of Canada.
This marks a significant increase from last year, where 324 players qualified online for the same event. GGPoker, now the official sponsor of The Poker Room at the resort, has expanded its role at the 2025 edition of the festival.
The 2025 series has seen operational enhancements, including an increased number of tournament tables and the addition of online registration, though the digital sign-up option carries a 5.5% fee.
In an official statement shared with media, the casino confirmed an exclusive partnership with GGPoker, making the Toronto venue the only destination in Ontario authorized to host both WSOP Circuit and bracelet events.

The C$800 Mystery Bounty tournament has been the largest draw so far, with 887 entries contributing to a total prize pool of C$585,420, which included a C$25,000 top bounty.
Additional events include a C$400 Seniors Event with 540 entries (C$172,800 prize pool) and a C$600 Pot-Limit Omaha event with 614 entries and over C$300,000 awarded.
To date, the festival has distributed more than C$2.4 million in prize money across all events, with more than 4,500 entries logged.
With 416 online qualifiers already secured, the 2025 edition is likely to set a new benchmark for participation.
Given the performance of early events and projections for the Main Event and High Roller, the festival is on course to exceed the initial C$6.5 million estimate and could cross the C$7 million mark.
