With both the Triple Comet Cup and the Sun Lite Cup on the schedule, players have more than enough room to decide how they want to approach this.

Inside the Triple Comet Cup Format

The Triple Comet Cup runs from January 16 through January 25 and revolves around three distinct Day 1 formats. Each one offers a different buy-in and qualification rate while leading to the same final.

Lite Day 1s cost $3.30 and advance the top 5 percent of players. Medium flights are priced at $5.50 with 8 percent progressing. Classic entries sit at $11 and allow 16 percent of the field to qualify. Flights are scheduled several times daily.

Players may enter as many Day 1s as they like, but only their largest stack advances to the final. It’s a system that favors improvement rather than survival.

Final Day Details

The final takes place on January 25 at 16:30 CET with a guaranteed prize pool starting at $5,000. Every finalist is already in the money, removing the tension of a late bubble and shifting attention entirely to stack growth and pay jumps.

The Sun Lite Cup on January 17

Complementing the Comet Cup schedule is the Sun Lite Cup, running on January 17 at 17:30 CET. This tournament carries a $2,500 guarantee and uses a Super Bounty format, with 70 percent of the prize pool allocated to knockouts.
