Nik Wins King’s Million European Poker Championship Main Event
The first King’s Million European Poker Championship has its Main Event champion and apparently Rozvadov needed a field of more than 7,000 entries to find him.

Romanian player Nik came through the €1,150 Super Main Event to collect €546,100 and a King’s Royal Scepter, putting the finishing touch on a festival that ran from September 16 to October 6 at King’s Resort.

We've compiled all the highlights for you here.

Nik Takes Down the €1,150 Super Main Event

The Super Main Event attracted 7,013 entries across eight opening flights, creating a €6,855,207 prize pool and comfortably clearing its €5 million guarantee. Nik had already made a final table earlier in the series before returning for the biggest tournament on the autumn schedule.

He led after the opening flights, slipped back into the pack on Day 2 and then returned to the top before the final day. Four players eventually stopped play to negotiate a deal, locking up more than €400,000 each while leaving over €200,000 still to play for.

That deal explains the slightly unusual final payouts. Third-place finisher Lyubomir actually banked more than the eventual champion, but Nik won the remaining competition and the Scepter after beating France’s Christophe Vincent heads-up.

This Rozvadov result was Nik’s biggest live tournament score to date.

That said, Nik was hardly unfamiliar with King’s Resort either, having already won a WSOP Circuit ring there in January and reached several other final tables in Rozvadov since 2023.

Winkler Adds EPC Masters to Breakout 2026

From the looks of it, Andre Winkler has made a habit of winning in Rozvadov this year.

The German recreational player followed his earlier success at King’s Resort by taking down the €2,000 EPC Masters, defeating a 346-entry field and collecting €99,600 after a heads-up deal with Marco Giordano.

Giordano actually secured the larger payout of €118,400 because he held the chip lead when the deal was agreed. The tournament continued for the Royal Scepter, however, and Winkler came back from a roughly 2:1 deficit to take the trophy.

The Israeli player won the €3,000 EPC High Roller after a marathon final day, overcoming 152 entries and defeating Mihai Tabac heads-up for €110,300. The event carried a €500,000 prize pool.
