Matthias Eibinger adds a fourth Triton title to his credit with a win in the $50K Turbo Bounty Quattro event for $891K.
Austria's Matthias Eibinger added a fourth title to his Triton Poker Super High Roller Series resume by winning Event #11 $50K No Limit Hold’em Turbo Bounty Quattro in Montenegro.
This victory earned the Austrian player $891,000 in payday, including $360,000 in bounty money.
Eibinger, 32, now holds four Triton trophies, three of which were claimed in turbo events.
His familiarity with high-speed structures dates back to his early online poker career, where he honed his skills in hyper turbo formats.
Reflecting on the win, Eibinger commented, “Four-time Triton champion feels obviously amazing, but the fact that I won three of them in turbos is the part that I actually enjoy the most. Whenever it's short, I enjoy it so much.”
Despite the seemingly straightforward nature of turbo events, Eibinger emphasized the strategic depth involved.
“From outside, it seems 'oh this hand is a push, this hand is a fold’, but in reality there are a lot of small details. You can play around with limps, what should you three-bet shove, it’s very player dependent. The details make the difference.”
Final Table Action
The final table featured a heavy-duty line-up, including Wang Ye, Talal Shakerchi, Jamil Wakil, Eelis Parssinen, Kristen Foxen, Dan Dvoress, and Ren Lin.
Dvoress and Foxen continued their final table spree with Event 11 making it clear that this Triton stop will have fireworks.
Coming back to Eibinger, his tournament-defining moment came when he eliminated both Dvoress and Wakil in a pivotal hand influenced by bounty considerations, propelling him into a commanding heads-up position against Wang Ye.
“It was a completely messed up hand, a really awkward hand,” Eibinger said.
“The only reason the hand could happen like that is because there were two bounties in play. I was the lucky winner of that, and suddenly I’m heads up with a big chip lead.”
The event began alongside Day 2 of the $100K Main Event. Players who missed out on a deep run in the Main, like Nacho Barbero (bubble) and Danny Tang (min-cash), joined the turbo in hopes of a quick turnaround.
However, the fast structure left little margin for error, and neither advanced to the payout stages.
The final nine players were set after Lun Loon exited in 10th, but with only eight payouts.
Tension remained high as Foxen, Dvoress and Jamil Wakil who have made final table appearances in earlier events would look to close this one.

The tournament’s most critical bubble hand saw Leonard Maue exit in 9th. Holding A-K, Maue opened from middle position with 20 big blinds, only to be met with a three-bet shove from Wang Ye’s A-3.
Foxen folded from the big blind, and Maue looked set to double up. However, a 2-3-6 flop followed by a 3 on the turn ended his run.

Turbo events continue to highlight Eibinger’s technical edge in rapid formats. His ability to apply pressure in shallow-stack situations, exploit bounty dynamics, and adapt to varied opponents has become a recurring theme.
Tournament Director’s remarks likening the turbo event to a “Matthias Eibinger Invitational” reflected the consistency with which he has dominated these structures.
Eibinger concluded, “I am still full of motivation, and Triton tournaments are just great generally. So many cool players, so many personalities. I am enjoying it.”
